The measure looks to save Coloradans money when it comes to fees, but they won’t be able to enforce the law themselves following an amendment to the bill in the state senate.
The measure expands on the 2023 prohibition on anti-growth ordinances and aims to clamp down on communities limiting residential density in urban areas.
A bill that would expand on the warrant of habitability passed in the previous year’s legislative session was held following its first hearing to give time for amendment drafting.
