From event organizers:
Jury selection proficiency is crucial for success in trial. It’s a chance for you to begin advancing your case, making a connection with the panel, and eliminating jurors who are adverse to your client. Your body language, attitude, and tactics at this early stage in the proceedings set the tone and expectations for the rest of the trial, but successful voir dire begins long before the jurors are seated in the courtroom. As well as what to do in the courtroom, this presentation will discuss pre-trial strategies such as motions in limine, how to plan what topics you’ll address, and other prep work that can help you make a great impression on the panel and help you optimize the selection process.
