Davis Graham & Stubbs announced on Sept. 17 that Stephen Snow has joined the firm’s environmental and public lands group as an associate. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and Texas.

Before joining Davis Graham, Snow clerked for Judge Scott Varholak of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and Chief Justice Nathan Hecht of the Supreme Court of Texas.

Snow’s previous experience also includes summer internships with the Southern Environmental Law Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and the Sierra Club’s Environmental Law Program in Washington, D.C.

Earlier in Snow’s career, he served as a research consultant for the Environmental Defense Fund, where he focused on community emergency preparedness programs.

Snow received his J.D. from the University of Texas Law School. During law school, he earned several awards, including the Dean’s Achievement Award in civil, jurisdiction and judgments, introduction to intellectual property and regulating energy markets. He also served as the chief content editor for the Texas Law Review. Snow received his bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in philosophy and religion from Auburn University.

Correction note: this article was updated Sept. 19 to include the correct spelling of Judge Scott Varholak’s name. Law Week regrets the error.
