
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck announced April 1 that Polly Swartzfager has joined the firm as a shareholder in its corporate department.
“Polly’s high-level corporate finance experience will be a tremendous asset for our clients. Her expertise in debt and equity financing transactions across a wide range of industries will enable her to integrate seamlessly with our team providing first-class service to our private equity, corporate and lender clients,” said Rich Benenson, Brownstein’s managing partner, in a press release.
Swartzfager uses her senior-level experience to advise clients on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. She provides ongoing counsel on corporate governance and general business matters, drawing on a broad-based industry background that includes industrial products and services, construction and energy services, natural resources and metals, technology, cybersecurity and health care.
“Brownstein is a longtime leader in the Denver market for corporate transactions and has an outstanding reputation in financings. The firm’s all-in approach to client service is a great fit for me,” Swartzfager said in a press release.
Swartzfager’s experience in debt and equity financings includes representing private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in acquisition financings and working capital facilities. She has structured and negotiated debt financings on behalf of senior and mezzanine lenders, represented clients in venture capital investments and served as corporate counsel for public equity offerings and 144A debt offerings.
Swartzfager earned her bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and her MBA and J.D. from Stanford University.
