Gov. Jared Polis announced on Feb. 9 the appointment of Deni Eiring to fill a judicial vacancy on the Cheyenne County Court in the 15th Judicial District. The judgeship was created by the resignation of Judge Gerald Keefe, effective March 1.
Eiring is a deputy district attorney in the 15th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, a position she’s held since 2016, according to the Feb. 9 announcement. Her practice consisted of criminal prosecution. Before becoming a deputy DA, she was an attorney at Cure & Bain Law Offices from 2013 to 2016. Eiring received her bachelor’s degree in government and legal studies from Oklahoma Christian University in 2002, master’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2010 and a JD from Charlotte School of Law in 2012.
