Caplan & Earnest announced Nov. 20 that Zoe Verhoeven has joined the firm as a litigation attorney.
Verhoeven assists clients in a broad array of civil litigation matters before state, federal and administrative tribunals. Her practice includes counseling clients in disputes involving employment discrimination, civil rights, disability and accommodation and torts.
“We are excited to welcome Zoe to the Caplan & Earnest team,” Elizabeth Friel, co-managing member of the firm, said in a press release. “Zoe’s extensive experience in civil litigation, coupled with her background clerking for both the Boulder District Court and the Washington State Court of Appeals, makes her an invaluable addition to our litigation team. Her commitment to advocacy across multiple practice areas reflects the elevated level of service and expertise we strive to provide our clients.”
Verhoeven earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. She was an editor on the executive board of the Denver Law Review and completed internships with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, Caplan & Earnest and the Denver District Attorney’s Office during law school.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to Caplan & Earnest as an attorney and contribute to a team known for its dedication to effective and efficient client service,” Verhoeven said in a release. “The firm’s commitment to delivering practical solutions aligns perfectly with my approach to advocacy. I look forward to helping clients navigate their legal challenges with clarity, care, and a results-oriented focus.”
