Lewis Roca, a regional Am Law 200 firm with a practice in Denver since 1903, announced on March 1 it has completed its office move to the newly opened McGregor Square development in Lower Downtown Denver. Lewis Roca introduced hoteling and paperless operations at its space in McGregor Square.
“This new office prominently features an inclusive, welcoming communal space with floor to ceiling windows,” said Caitlin McHugh, who was appointed managing partner of Lewis Roca’s Denver and Colorado Springs offices last month. “It is modern and fresh — very evocative of the neighborhood.”
The office move is Lewis Roca’s first in Denver in more than 35 years, according to the firm’s announcement. The McGregor Square location features a hotel, luxury condos, retail space and a nearly 30,000 square-foot public plaza in addition to the office tower in which Lewis Roca’s office is located. The firm noted the development is also within close walking distance of Union Station and Coors Field.
“We have taken the knowledge gained from these past two years about how we interact with our clients and each other and incorporated that into our innovative space planning, which will allow us to use cutting-edge technology to provide superior service and maintain a high-energy workplace,” added McHugh.
The firm announced that shared office arrangements, or hoteling, are part of Lewis Roca’s new hybrid work environment. Lawyers committed to being in the office four days a week or more may have an assigned office, while those not in as often may opt to share an office, according to the announcement. Lewis Roca also announced the new McGregor Square location is a paperless environment.
