WilmerHale announced Feb. 18 that tax lawyer David Strong has joined the firm as a partner in its transactional department. Strong brings extensive experience in advising public and private clients on a wide range of corporate tax issues to the firm. Strong will be based in the Denver office, but he is positioned to work with transaction teams across the firm. Strong received his bachelor’s degrees from the University of Denver, his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University.

Holland & Hart LLP announced Feb. 18 that real estate attorney Heather Park Meek has joined the firm’s real estate team as a partner in the Denver office. Meek has experience structuring and negotiating complex leasing transactions and providing asset management solutions for retail, office, industrial and mixed-use projects. Before joining Holland & Hart, Meek was a shareholder at Otten Johnson Robinson Neff + Ragonetti PC, where she chaired the firm’s real estate transactions group.

On Feb. 17, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck announced that of counsel Mimi Larsen has joined the board of directors of Locally Haiti, an organization that advocates for and invests in locally led initiatives to support the vision of its partner communities in rural Haiti. In her two-year role, Larsen will work with fellow board members to provide support for and oversight of Locally Haiti’s mission.
