Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP on Nov. 4 announced it added Pamela Hirschman and Miriam Trudell as partners in the firm’s intellectual property and technology transactions group. Hirschman, a former trademark examining attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, possesses a broad range of experience in trademark law. Her practice spans trademark prosecution, post-registration maintenance and complex proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Trudell specializes in trademark, copyright and domain name law, offering comprehensive legal counsel in both domestic and international operations. Her practice includes trademark protection and maintenance, ex parte and opposition/cancellation proceedings and advising clients on copyright law and domain name disputes.
Holland & Hart announced Nov. 4 that seven associates recently joined the firm in Colorado. MB Beasley joined the firm’s business litigation practice; Ginger Eastman and Evan Mahon joined its intellectual property practice; Anna Hamp joined its real estate practice; Catherine Kelly and Devon Stoeber joined its corporate practice; and Lainey Larsen joined its environmental practice.
Polsinelli on Nov. 5 announced the election of 27 new shareholders, effective Nov. The new group of shareholders spans 11 offices, all of the firm’s core practice departments, and more than half of them are women and diverse attorneys, according to the firm’s announcement. Two Denver attorneys, Matthew Kapsak and Emily Tichenor, were elected to shareholder.
Lewis Roca announced Nov. 4 that Chan Park joined the firm’s litigation practice group as of counsel in Denver. Park’s practice encompasses a broad range of litigation matters, including commercial real estate disputes, labor law, premises liability and personal injury. Park earned her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Manhattan School of Music. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York, the U.S. District Court, the District of Colorado and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Holland & Hart announced Nov. 5 that Jacqueline Hyatt has joined the firm’s Denver office as an oil and gas litigation associate. Hyatt assists energy and natural resources clients navigate complex litigation, transactional and regulatory matters. She uses her experience as a petroleum landman to advocate for clients involved in natural resources litigation. Hyatt earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and is admitted to practice in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. She previously served as a law clerk for Judge Bobby Baldock of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Dickinson Wright announced Nov. 7 that Aaron Ladd joined the firm’s Denver office as of counsel. Ladd’s practice focuses on water rights planning, adjudications and transactions. He has experience in water court and appeals to the Colorado Supreme Court to obtain, preserve, maximize and protect water rights. He received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Holland & Hart announced Nov. 7 that environmental litigation associate Alex Lubin has joined the firm’s Denver office. Lubin supports clients in the energy and natural resources industries with complex legal challenges and disputes. In addition to his complex commercial litigation work, he drafts pipeline and natural gas lease agreements and conducts due diligence for energy sector mergers and acquisitions. Lubin earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
The judiciary
Chief Judge Amanda Hunter on Nov. 4 issued an order appointing Jeff Lindsey as the acting district attorney for the 11th Judicial District, according to an announcement from the judicial branch. Lindsey was sworn in on Nov. 1 and filled an absence created by the disbarment of Linda Stanley. Jeff Lindsey has been the chief deputy DA in the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office since 2021. He was the only candidate running for DA for the 11th Judicial District in the 2024 election. Lindsey has been an attorney for 29 years and a prosecutor for 27 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1994.

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck on Nov. 5 announced Brielle Rumsey, an associate in the firm’s real estate department, has joined the board of directors of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in the state. Serving a three-year term, Rumsey will help drive initiatives that elevate women’s roles in business and leadership.
