VF Law announced Dec. 5 that Lee Freedman has joined the firm’s Colorado office as of counsel. Freedman is an attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in community association law, insurance recovery, construction defect litigation and real estate and corporate transactions.
Before joining VF Law, Freedman was a founding partner of WF Legal and practiced in boutique law firms in California and Colorado, specializing in community association law, alternative medicine law and other corporate litigation, employment and transactional matters.
“Colorado represents one of our fastest-growing markets, and adding Lee to our bench of excellent attorneys deepens our capability to serve our clients in Colorado,” VF Law Managing Partner T. Beau Ellis said in a press release. “I am confident that our clients will greatly benefit from Lee’s background in community association law and litigation.”
Freedman is originally from Colorado. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law.
In addition to being admitted to the Colorado and California bars, Freedman is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the District of California.
Freedman is an active member in the Colorado chapter of the Community Association Institute and the Colorado Legislative Action Committee. He was also appointed to the Colorado HOA Task Force.
