Holland & Hart announced Nov. 7 that environmental litigation associate Alex Lubin has joined the firm’s Denver office.
Lubin supports clients in the energy and natural resources industries with complex legal challenges and disputes. He has an understanding of trial and appellate court systems and processes from three judicial clerkships. Through these experiences, he observed firsthand how judges approach and analyze legal issues in reaching a disposition, according to the firm’s announcement.
Lubin advises clients on litigation strategy and helps develop persuasive written arguments, particularly on cases involving regulatory and administrative issues. In addition to his complex commercial litigation work, he drafts pipeline and natural gas lease agreements and conducts due diligence for energy sector mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Holland & Hart, Lubin served as a law clerk for Colorado Supreme Court Justice Carlos Samour Jr., Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Craig Welling and Denver District Court Judge David Goldberg.
Lubin earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.
