Law Firm Updates
Regional firm Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP announced the addition of three new associates on Nov. 23. All new hires were previous summer associates at DGS and are admitted to practice law in Colorado. Kendall Godley focuses on corporate transactional law and general corporate matters. He is a University of Denver Sturm College of Law graduate and externed at Rubicon Law and Arrow Electronics. Hannah Williams focuses on corporate transactional and securities law. Williams is a Sturm College of Law graduate and has had legal intern experience at Arrow Electronics, Crow Legal and RNS Capital Partners. Eric Wright focuses his practice on corporate transactional law and general corporate matters. Wright is a University of Colorado Law School graduate and worked as a financial analyst and account manager before pursuing his legal career.
The Judiciary
On Nov. 23, Gov. Jared Polis announced 34 appointments to judicial district performance commissions and two appointments to the State Judicial Performance Commission. All appointments are effective Dec. 1 and expire Nov. 25, 2025.
The state appointments are:
- Lindsey Daugherty of Arvada will serve as an attorney, appointed, on the State Judicial Performance Commission.
- Dennis Obduskey of Pueblo will serve as a non-attorney, reappointed, on the State Judicial Performance Commission.
The district appointments are:
- Rachel Lovendahl of Westminster will serve as a reappointed non-attorney on the First Judicial District Performance Commission.
- Cynthia Baroway of Lakewood will serve as a reappointed non-attorney on the First Judicial District Performance Commission.
- Angelique Carter of Denver will serve as a reappointed non-attorney on the Second Judicial District Performance Commission.
- Maryanne Flynn of Denver will serve as a reappointed non-attorney on the Second Judicial District Performance Commission.
- Carlos Lopez of Trinidad will serve as an appointed non-attorney on the Third Judicial District Performance Commission. .
