Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP on Jan. 14 welcomed Julie Shursky as an associate and Jared Anderson as a patent agent in its intellectual property and technology transactions group.
Shursky is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Anderson is a registered patent agent before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Shursky, a former associate in a leading boutique IP firm in Denver, partners with businesses across a range of industries to help them select, secure and protect their brands. She guides clients throughout the entire lifecycle of trademark protection, including clearance, searching and trademark prosecution. She also provides trademark counseling, including developing international protection strategies and implementing trademark watch programs to monitor potential infringements and unauthorized enforcement and trademark litigation. Earlier in her career, Shursky worked as a trademark attorney in a private practice law firm in Virginia.
As a patent agent, Anderson partners with inventors to advise on and assist in preparing, filing and seeking patent applications to be issued through the USPTO. Prior to joining Davis Graham, Anderson completed his Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he specialized in medicinal chemistry research. Anderson also holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
