Spencer Fane LLP announced Jan. 23 that Alan Schindler has joined the firm’s Denver office as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution practice group.
Schindler represents individuals and public and private entities in a full spectrum of commercial litigation matters. Schindler has more than 15 years of trial experience and focuses on contracts, real estate law, professional liability and business torts. He has represented clients in the agriculture, shipping, finance, mortgage lending, private equity and construction industries.
“Alan’s distinguished practice and broad success across sectors will support our diverse, cross-office litigation team,” Ron Fano, office managing partner for Spencer Fane in Denver, said in a press release. “Further, his focus on collaboration and service both to his clients and community is a perfect fit with our firm’s culture. We are excited to welcome him to the Denver office.”
Schindler received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of several professional groups and actively works to support access-to-justice initiatives relating to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, including serving on the advisory board of the Federal Pro Se Clinic and as a founding board member of the Federal Limited Appearance Program. He also serves on the board of the Faculty of Federal Advocates, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of legal practice in federal courts in the District of Colorado.
