The Colorado Court of Appeals affirmed nearly $1.4 million in penalties and fees assessed against a foreclosure attorney the state sued for billing thousands of consumers facing the loss of their homes for title-insurance policies that did not exist.
Aurora City Council Rejects Oil and Gas Changes
During a final reading of a resolution to change its oil and gas committee, some Aurora council members said they didn’t see the need. The proposal ultimately died in committee.
