Hickenlooper Fills Court of Appeals Vacancy

Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Friday he has appointed Judge Ted Tow III to serve on the Colorado Court of Appeals, effective Feb. 12, 2018. The appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Dennis Graham.

Tow served as executive director of the Colorado District Attorneys’ Council from 2008 to 2010 and previously served as the council’s deputy executive director. He was a senior deputy district attorney in the 17th Judicial District from 2005 to 2007 after five years as a deputy district attorney.

While in private practice, Tow was an associate at numerous law firms, including Sherman & Howard. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in 1989 and his law degree in 1994 from Wayne State University Law School.
