Holzer Patel Drennan announced Amy Deveraux has joined the intellectual property firm in Denver as an associate. Deveraux’s focus will be on IP law, and she has experience in patent prosecution in a variety of technical fields, including mechanical devices, consumer products, materials science and telecommunications. Deveraux also has experience in trademark prosecution, non-disclosure agreements, copyright registration and protection and intellectual property licensing.
Deveraux worked with Holzer Patel Drennan as both an extern and intern beginning in summer 2015. She was an Innovation Fellow at University of Colorado’s Technology Transfer Office, served as the assistant managing editor for the Denver Law Review and conducted research regarding patent subject matter eligibility in the field of personalized medicine.
Deveraux received her undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and her law degree and intellectual property law certificate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
