Sherman & Howard announced today that Parker Schenken has joined the firm’s public finance department. He will be working out of the firm’s Denver office.
“Parker brings more than two decades of experience in a wide variety of municipal finance transactions. He is a perfect fit for our practice group going forward and we are excited to have him as part of the team,” said Jim Lane who leads the firm’s public finance team.
Schenken spent the last 22 years in public finance in Omaha. He has served as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel and underwriter’s counsel on various transactions, with recent emphasis in the health care, education and utility spaces. He is licensed in Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa.
Schenken is a 1994 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law. He also holds a degree in civil engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and worked in the engineering field before attending law school.
