LAW WEEK COLORADO
A group of lawyers joined Keating Wagner Polidori Free for the opportunity to use a fee structure that allows them to focus on the craft of practicing law.
Ross Pulkrabek, Dan Wartell, Aaron Goldhamer and Lidiana Rios joined Keating Wagner Aug. 1. Pulkrabek and Wartell, who joined the firm as partners, represent plaintiffs in business tort, legal malpractice and trust and estate litigation cases. Goldhamer and Rios will join the firm as associates.
The firm’s new attorneys make it one of the largest plaintiff-focused trial firms in the state, according to a press release from the firm.
Pulkrabek and Wartell said they joined the firm in part for the opportunity to provide contingency fee arrangements for all clients, an unusual strategy in the world of business litigation, especially among larger law firms.
Keating Wagner is a plaintiff’s side litigation firm, which primarily sees cases dealing with personal injury and workers compensation cases. Partner Mike Keating said the firm’s focus allows it to offer contingency fees to its clients and not rely on the billable hour. Bringing that approach to business litigation creates a new dynamic for the firm’s clientele, Keating said.
