Mulligan Joins Husch Blackwell

Husch Blackwell announced Tuesday Jim Mulligan has joined its Denver office as partner in the firm’s real estate, development and construction team. Mulligan previously practiced in Snell & Wilmer’s Denver office.

Mulligan’s practice focuses on commercial and mixed-use real estate. He is experienced with federal, state and local real estate developments, project finance, tax and other incentive programs for corporate users as well as both private-public infrastructure and redevelopment projects. He has worked extensively with affordable housing projects and programs and has been appointed special deputy attorney general representing the Colorado Division of Housing in finance transactions.

Mulligan received his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He serves on the national board of the National Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is board chair of the Metropolitan State University of Denver Foundation, and recently became a board member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and current board co-chair of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.
