LAW WEEK COLORADO
Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Tuesday the appointment of Elizabeth House Moulton Brodsky to the Boulder County Court bench in the 20th Judicial District. Brodsky will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Norma Sierra to the district court, which was effective August 1, 2015.
Brodsky was appointed magistrate judge for the 20th Judicial District in 2011 and currently presides over a domestic relations docket. From 2005 to 2011, she was in private practice as respondent parent counsel, a guardian ad litem and a representative of Spanish speakers in child support cases. Additionally, she was managing attorney for Boulder County Legal Services and a staff attorney for Colorado Legal Services.
Brodsky earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
The appointment is effective immediately.
