LAW WEEK COLORADO
Attorneys Sean Leventhal and Jonathan Sar are launching a new boutique firm in Denver focusing on personal injury cases, according to an announcement Wednesday.
“We formed Leventhal Sar LLC to combine our diverse legal backgrounds, ability to achieve results and passion for representing victims who have been injured by the negligence of others,” Leventhal said.
Leventhal attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in international affairs. After several years as commercial pilot, Sean earned his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Prior to founding Leventhal Sar, he spent several years working as an attorney at the Denver medical malpractice firm Leventhal & Puga. Leventhal represented clients in various personal injury matters, including medical malpractice, birth injuries, civil rights, auto accidents, ski accidents, premises liability and wrongful death. He litigated catastrophic injury cases in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana and Nebraska and helped obtain multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts.
Sar earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College before attending Harvard Law School. He previously spent several years working as an attorney at O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. Most recently, Jonathan worked at the Denver office of Polsinelli.
Sar has experience advocating for clients including individuals and large businesses in industries such as healthcare, private equity, technology and natural and organic food. He has negotiated complex business law issues in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, start-up ventures and commercial contracts.
