Lathrop & Gage today announced the addition of patent agent Randolph Treece to the firm’s Boulder office.
“Rande represents a significant addition to our IP practice,” said Stephen Barone, co-leader of the IP chemical transactions team. “His knowledge of patents and his business acumen complement the diverse talent that is available to our clients nationwide.”
Dr. Treece is a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has 20 years of experience developing technology with government and commercial partners and translating complex ideas into valuable inventions and patents. Treece has advised clients in the fields of chemistry, materials science and solid-state physics. He also works with multi-national companies, universities and national laboratories on a variety of projects. Treece obtained a doctorate in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
