Fennemore Craig announced today two attorneys have joined the firm’s Denver office as of counsel. David Schachter will practice in the firm’s intellectual property group, and Steven Johnston joins its litigation group.
Schachter, previously a member at Sherman & Howard, will advise businesses on IP and general commercial matters involving transactions, formal protection, enforcement, e-commerce and litigation. He is also the author of the “Legal Bytes” column published bi-monthly in the Denver Business Journal. He earned his law degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Schachter also coordinates Fennemore Craig’s Venture Accelerator program, which addresses the needs of start-up enterprises.
Johnston focuses his practice in litigation representing physicians and hospitals in malpractice litigation as well as business owners and investors in shareholder, partnership and limited liability corporation member disputes. He earned both his law and bachelor’s degrees from Brigham Young University.
