Bryan Cave Expands Technology And Entrepreneurial Group In Boulder

Bryan Cave today announced that Christopher Achatz and Scott Perlov have joined the Boulder office as associates in the technology, entrepreneurial and commercial client service group.

Achatz advises clients on the licensing and transfer of intellectual property and high technology. He also provides legal solutions to businesses, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, regarding distribution and resale arrangements, professional service agreements, open source compliance and data acquisition and commercialization. Additionally, he maintains a data privacy and security practice and advises clients on industry-specific regulations and standards that govern the responsible use, collection and management of their customers’ personal information.

Perlov works on corporate and transactional matters, primarily with rapidly growing technology companies, including company formation issues, seed stage and venture capital financings, merger and acquisition transactions, securities and tax. Previously, he maintained a similar practice in Los Angeles.

Achatz is a certified information privacy professional and earned his bachelor’s degrees and law degree from the University of Colorado. Perlov earned his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, M.B.A from Thunderbird School of Global Management, law degree from American University and master’s of laws degree in tax law from New York University School of Law.
