Perkins Coie announced today that Sonny Allison has been named office managing partner of the firm’s Denver office. Sonny succeeds Len MacPhee, who had served as office managing partner since 2011.
Allison, a partner in the firm’s business practice, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance and securities. He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
Perkins Coie’s Denver office, which opened in 1997, serves local, national and international clients. The office is home to more than 45 attorneys providing a full-spectrum of legal services. The attorneys in Denver handle all aspects of commercial and business litigation, white collar crime and internal investigations, products liability, energy, environmental and natural resources, corporate and commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, public company and securities, real estate and land use, patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution, IP litigation and licensing.
