Fisher Phillips announced today that Micah Dawson joined the national labor and employment law firm’s Denver office as an associate. He was previously with Holland & Hart in Denver.
Dawson advises employers on how to comply with a range of state and federal regulations and develop the best corporate practices. He has experience representing clients in regard
to employment litigation, trade secret matters, and wage-and-hour class actions and collective actions.
Dawson is also involved in all aspects of traditional labor law, including practicing before the National Labor Relations Board, union avoidance and elections, defense of unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and labor arbitrations.
Dawson has represented national and international employers in state and federal courts across the country and successfully tried cases in both jury and bench proceedings. He also represents veterans on a pro bono basis and has successfully appealed claims before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Federal Circuit.
Dawson received his law degree from Boston College Law School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago in 2007.
