Stinson Leonard Street announced Monday that Victoria (Tori) Donovan has joined the firm in Denver as a partner in its private business group. Donovan was previously general counsel at Greenwood Village-based National Corporate Housing, Inc.
Donovan has significant experience advising emerging and established companies in a full range of issues, including corporate matters, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions and technology. Much of her practice is focused on the technology, media, sports, advertising, hospitality and service industries.
“Tori is a problem solver. She excels at providing solutions while staying focused on her clients’ underlying goals,” said Jim Sticha, the chair of the firm’s private business group. “We are very excited to welcome her to our firm and our growing practice.”
Donovan joins Stinson after serving as general counsel for National Corporate Housing as well as T3Media, a global media technology company. Prior to her general counsel roles, she practiced at Holland & Hart representing public and private companies in venture finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance and emerging growth transactions.
Donovan earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She is immediate past president of the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and a member of the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network.
