Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Expands

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough announced yesterday that John Streelman joined the firm’s franchise and distribution team as a partner in the Denver office. He joins from Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell and also has been associated with litigation boutique White and Steele.

Streelman’s practice focuses on complex business disputes, including franchise and distribution agreements, employment disputes, and professional liability defense. He has litigated cases in more than 20 states and has gone to decision/verdict in 18 matters, including numerous jury and bench trials in federal and state courts, appellate courts, administrative tribunals and boards, and arbitrations. He has handled dispositive and evidentiary hearings and has resolved numerous cases on dispositive motions.

Streelman joins more than 25 attorneys in the franchise and distribution law and litigation group who represent regional, national, and international franchisors, distributors and multi-unit franchisees. The firm’s franchise and distribution clients range from start-up companies to large, established franchisors and cover a variety of industries including restaurants and food service, hotel and hospitality, vehicle manufacturers and distributors, real estate brokerage, tax preparation services, retail stores, commercial office cleaning, health-related services, amateur and professional sports leagues, and other commercial and consumer-based services.
