Denver is the home to a new East Coast law firm after its lateral hire of an energy industry veteran last week.
Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, a national, full-service law firm based in Pittsburgh, announced the opening of its Denver office effective Oct. 1. The firm is more than 100 years old, and the Denver office is the firm’s 17th office nationwide and its first in the Rocky Mountain region. The firm primarily operates in the mid-Atlantic region and has other offices in California, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and West Virginia.
The addition of a Colorado location bolsters our ability to deliver hands-on services to existing and future clients in the Rockies, managing director Jeffrey Wiley said in a press release.
The move to Denver, for the time being, consists of the lateral move of Dickie McCamey’s sole Denver attorney, Jack Luellen. Luellen joined the firm as a principal to lead and expand the new office. Luellen has more than 25 years of experience andmore than 15 in the Rocky Mountain region. He focuses his practice on oil and gas with a background in litigation, transaction and regulatory matters in most of the producing basins in the Rockies. He represents the interests of oil and gas companies in the E&P and midstream sectors.
