Dr. Tasha Eurich, an organizational psychologist and researcher, delivered a speech June 27 for the Davis Graham & Stubbs Women’s Network in Denver, while promoting her new book “Insight: Why We’re Not as Self-Aware as We Think, and How Seeing Ourselves Clearly Helps Us Succeed at Work and Life.”

The New York Times best seller and Huffington Post contributor spoke to network members and clients about improving work performance, career satisfaction, leadership potential and relationships through the power of internal and external awareness — the ability to clearly perceive one’s personality while understanding the perception of others.

“The fact that women make up only 36 percent of the legal profession, (it’s) a lot of pressure,” Eurich said, as she stood in front of a presentation screen with an enlarged image of Wonder Woman. “That power and control and cognizance is something everyone in this room can achieve.”

Eurich holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University and has built a reputation as a modern voice in the business world by weaving her scientific understanding of human behavior with a pragmatic approach to solving problems.
