Judge William Bain has been appointed to serve as the chief judge of the 4th Judicial District Court by Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Nancy Rice.
Bain was originally appointed to the court in 2010 by Gov. Bill Ritter. Before being appointed to the bench, Bain worked in private practice with Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley in Denver and was a deputy district attorney in the 4th Judicial District and a civil litigator for Colorado Springs.
