There’s a changing of the guard at the Colorado Bar Association CLE, with outgoing executive director Gary Abrams being replaced by Vince O’Brien.

Abrams is retiring after 20 years with the continuing legal education organization.

O’Brien comes to the CBA CLE by way of Minnesota’s Association of Continuing Legal Education Administrators and Minnesota Continuing Legal Education which he worked with for 30 years as program attorney, assistant director and president. He said he intends to bring about changes while also respecting the traditions and work that has already been done in Colorado. He will begin work with CBA CLE Jan. 30.

Abrams and O’Brien had a connection through their involvement with continuing legal education industry association ACLEA. The organization includes members from all 50 states, Canadian provinces and other countries around the world.
