Pendleton Wilson Hennessey & Crow bolstered its employment law practice with the addition of Elwyn Schaefer as special counsel, the firm announced Thursday.
Schaefer has practiced law for more than 40 years and has specialized in labor and employment law for the last 30 years. About 80 percent of his practice involves the representation of employees in private sector disputes.
Schaefer has represented clients before the EEOC, DORA, OFO, the U. S. Merit Systems Protection Board, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a long-time member of both the National Employment Lawyers Association and the board of directors of the Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association.
He is a graduate of Columbia and the University of Colorado School of Law. Elwyn was a law clerk for Justice Robert Lee of the Colorado Supreme Court and also served as a municipal court judge.
